" Whadda ya hear, whadda ya say!? Crime is a sucker's road and those who travel it wind up in the gutter, the prison or the grave!"
— but before they throw that switch, throw one back with the new Thugshots shot glasses.

Just announced and coming in January from Dark Horse Comics is my new set of Thugshots brand shot glasses featuring a rogues gallery of thugs straight from my sketchbooks. Four different designs emblazoned with the dirty mugs of Jarcudi "the Shiv", No-Nose Dempsey, Luckless Louie, and Jimmy the Pipe. More information and shots of all the thugs at the Dark Horse Comics website.

"Danse Macabre" & "Intermezzo" Released Through Les Humanoïdes Associés
I’m happy to announce that the French language edition of
“The Marquis” series is currently being released through Les Humanoïdes Assocs in a hardcover oversized collection. The first book collecting the “Danse Macabre” storyline is currently available and not only sports a new cover, but also re-colored red plates for the Hell scenes by Vince Locke. The French edition of "The Marquis: Intermezzo" is scheduled for a June release while the English editions continue to be printed
through ONI Press.

B.P.R.D.: Plague Of Frogs TPB
Dark Horse Comics has released the third in their B.P.R.D. TPBs, the latest collects the entire "Plague of Frogs" storyline along with a sketchbook section and an incredible new cover by Mike Mignola himself! On other B.P.R.D. news, I finished work on the last issue of "B.P.R.D.: The Dead" and have started artwork on the next 6 issue storyline— “The Black Flame”. I’ll post some updates with images in the coming months.

The Dark Horse Book of the Dead
"Kago no Tori"
I just finished work on a new zombie story that is part of the upcoming “Dark Horse Book of the Dead”. Written by Jamie Rich and illustrated by myself, it tells the tale of love and undead in feudal Japan. The book is scheduled for Summer 2005 and will include new stories by Mike Mignola, Pat McEown, Roger Langridge, Bob Fingerman, Todd Herman, David Crouse, Eric Powell, Kelley Jones, Jill Thompson, Evan Dorkin, Gary Gianni and Robert E. Howard.

The Zombies That Ate The World Vol. 2 "Les Esclaves de l'Amour"
The second French collection of “The Zombies that Ate the World” by Jerry Frissen and myself is on its way. “Les Esclaves de l’Amour.” (The Slaves of Love) collects the latest chapters that originally appeared in Metal Hurlant in an oversized hardcover edition with a brand new cover by myself, which also appears on Metal Hurlant #14. You can also check out a small interview from Jerry Frissen and myself on the series over at www.humanoids-publishing.com

Lucien 25 Years! "Nanard's Big Surprise"
Out now is the latest tome from Frank Margerin, “Lucien 25 Piges”, a collection of different artists and writers celebrating 25 years of his comic “Lucien”. Included is a 12 page story of house guests gone horribly wrong by me and Jerry Frissen titled “Nanard’s Big Surprise”, which gave me an excuse to have fun and play around in a different art style. Also in this French collection are stories by Michel Constant, Jean-Luc Cornette, René Pétillon, Riff Reb's, and Jean-Marc Rochette.

More Guy Davis' then you can shake a stick at (well at least two)
Fans of blues music know that the name Guy Davis doesn't mean me— but I get to join up with him on the new album "Guy Davis: Legacy" from Redhouse Records. No worries, I don't sing on it— but I (along with Vince Locke on colors) provided the artwork for the cover along with a 10 page comic strip inside that's written by the bluesman himself as he meets the devil in "One Night at the Crossroads". The CD will be released on August 24 and you can check out more of the Blues Guy and his great sound at www.guydavis.com.

The French hardcover edition of "The Zombies that Ate the World"
(Collection 1) is now available. This edition is a compilation of Chapters 1-4 that appeared in the pages of Metal Hurlant #8-11 written by the hilarously sick mind of Jerry Frissen and drawn by me. Features all the original series art in an oversized format that measures 8.5" x 11.5". Also be sure to check out the continuing "The Zombies that Ate the World" serial in each issue of Metal Hurlant, issue #12 is on sale now!

edition go to: www.humano.com or www.humano.com/zombies
